Every year, United Way of Treasure Valley hosts a volunteer event to get boxes of nonperishable food, hygiene items, warm clothes, and more to students who are experiencing homelessness in the Treasure Valley. This year, the goal is to put together 3,500 boxes to distribute all throughout the Valley, so that kids can take them home over Thanksgiving break and have a reliable food source while they're not in school.
