The Idaho Chukar Foundation is hosting its annual safety event, offering personalized 1:1 avoidance training for dogs and their owners. Held at the Agriculture Pavilion in Boise’s Julia Davis Park on Saturday, May 31, and Saturday, June 7, from 9 AM to 2 PM, this training helps dogs learn to recognize and avoid the sight, smell, and sound of rattlesnakes, skunks, and porcupines—common hazards in Idaho and the surrounding region. Sessions are scheduled individually to ensure personalized instruction.
