Owner and designer Courtney's love of flowers came from being around the sweet smell of lilacs, full fluffy peonies, and beautiful ruffled roses in her grandmothers' gardens. There were always little posies of blooms in vases around their homes and "Posies" is named after this precious memory.

Born and raised in eastern Idaho, she is inspired by the wildflowers and trees scattered throughout the Idaho mountains, the plants growing in gardens and landscapes, and the palette of colors she finds in local flower farm fields and floral suppliers. She is amazed how flowers are all different and no two are exactly the same and uses this thought process in each of her weddings as she creates unique and personal designs for her clients.

Even with a bachelors degree in Horticulture and 20 years in the wedding industry, Courtney continues to educate herself and her team on new techniques and designs to use throughout her design process. She loves the friendship and trust she receives from her brides and her heart fills when she hears "the flowers were more beautiful than I ever even dreamed of" after an event is over.
