This summer, Meriwether Cider Company is celebrating 10 years in business with “Ten at the Pen,” a free, all-ages community event at the historic Old Idaho Penitentiary on Saturday, June 13. The celebration is designed as a thank you to the community that supported Meriwether Cider along the way. The event will feature local food trucks, Idaho musicians, artists, and makers along with cider, cocktails, and beer available for purchase.

Meridian Symphony Orchestra Concert at the Park
The Meridian Symphony Orchestra will present a free concert at 4:00 p.m. in the Kleiner Park Bandshell. The orchestra will perform a variety of toe-tapping songs sure to bring a smile to every face. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating in the outdoor amphitheater. Outside food and beverages are welcome, so pack a picnic basket, but please note that glass containers are not allowed in the park.

Boise Teen Town Hall
Join city leaders to help make Boise the best possible place for youth and teens! Young people aged 13-18 are encouraged to join this interactive day that includes a Q& A session with leaders, learning and listening sessions with Boise Departments working to build better options for youth, and a "Pitch Contest" in which teams of young people create dreams and ideas for Boise's continued development on the Youth Road Map.

Meridian Independence Day Festival
Meridian City is looking forward to a grand fireworks display in Storey Park to celebrate the 250 anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! Wicked Camp: Musical Theatre Intensive Day Camp
“Wicked Camp” is a musical theatre intensive day camp hosted at The College of Idaho from July 6–10, 2026. The GOTR Boise Road Mile is a high-energy downtown Boise race designed for runners ages 14 and older looking to test their fastest mile.
